Child Care

As a part of our commitment to promote the health and well-being of women and children, the Bundelkhand Development Society NGO provides essential information and support to women from rural backgrounds on child care and maternity precautions.

We understand the importance of proper nutrition for both mothers and their children, especially during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Hence, we provide a comprehensive diet chart that includes locally available and affordable food items that are rich in nutrients. We also educate women on the importance of a balanced diet and the harmful effects of malnutrition. We ensure that our messages are tailored to the cultural context of the communities we work with.

In addition to nutrition, we also emphasize the significance of hygiene in promoting good health. We educate women on the importance of personal hygiene, such as handwashing and clean water practices. We also provide information on safe and effective ways to maintain cleanliness in the home and the importance of sanitation.

Furthermore, we also provide counseling and support to women during and after pregnancy. We inform them of the essential maternity precautions to take to ensure a healthy pregnancy and delivery, and we provide guidance on postpartum care and newborn care.

Through our efforts, we aim to empower women with the knowledge and skills they need to take care of themselves and their families. By promoting healthy practices, we hope to improve the health and well-being of communities in rural areas.
